Today is a New

Hello fellow readers,

It's been almost 8 years since my last post and I am more shocked this is still available to write on. I created this blog over 8 years ago of all the craziness in the world. Sorry I have not spent the time like I wanted on the blog over the past years because you know life happens. Today I am going to start bringing this back. Today is a new day and this will be the start again.

I would like to start with the craziness that is currently going on in the world. I feel it is time for people to start to awaken and be re-enlighted to knowledge. Too much of what is out on the internet now of days is "fake news" and distorts from the real news out there. I feel people need to move back to the facts, check the realness of what is being reported. I know we all live in a world of needing the information now but seriously? If you can take the time to post the link on Facebook, then take the time to validate the truth being reported. I do agree there is a "fake news" problem but when it is real news being called "fake news"? They try to discredit that news because it is against someone's beliefs or the truth about them. Please take the time to ensure the information you are reading is credible... but H2IK!!!

About Congress

Hello Readers,

My fiancé and I are first time home buyers and cannot close on our first house because of the non-extension of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). We were due to close on June 15 but we live in a flood plain. Our lender requires us to have a flood insurance policy in place before we can close on the house.
For weeks, Congress have been trying to pass a bill known as H.R. 4213. One of the items in this large bill includes extending the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Since Congress has not passed this bill they let the NFIP to run out on June 1, 2010. Not having this extension to the program has halted all closings to houses that are under a flood plain. This not only affects people purchasing homes; this is preventing people from obtaining or renewing their flood insurance policies. Also, we are in the middle of hurricane season. If, God forbid, a storm passed through this is going to leave a lot of home owners hurting if it is not passed soon.
I wanted to pass on the word to inform your viewers of what is happening. If you want more information about this topic please direct viewers to view the Senate and FEMA web sites. I have contacted my Senators and have not received a response back. It seems as if the government is not speaking for the American people and I have not seen much coverage on this situation. I want people to be informed because many lenders, realtors, and insurance agents are not aware of this. NFIP is the only way someone could receive flood insurance coverage. It hurts me to know how ill-informed the people of America are and are unaware of what is going on.
Please pass on the word like I will do. I would like any help I can receive and give any that I can. The worst part of it all is that the First Time Home Buyer Credit is up at the end of June and if Congress does not extend it the real estate market will be hit hard affecting our economy greatly. All because Congress cares only to be reelected.

The Beginnings

Introduction:

Ah today (gasp)… today of all days. It started off like any ordinary day; however, I was soon to realize that it would all change in the blink of an eye.

I am what you would call a person with a strong imagination. I let my imagination get away from me sometimes, so far in fact that I feel like I live in another world. I also hardly get out much, which compliments my imagination perfectly. The closest thing I have got to a tan is from the luminescent glow of my TV. I keep to myself in a town where everyone knows your name. Some would call me a loner, not even close to a social butterfly. This hindrance has made it hard growing up in a small town. I just wish I grew up in a different time and in a different place, somewhere like feudal Japan.

I am a big fan of feudal Japan; I enjoy the way of the samurai and how this time was about warriors with honor and fought for justices and rights. My preoccupation with this era is prevalent in my home. I own movies, books, items such as katana swords, and much more all over my room. I love martial arts and I have posters of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris. I even play around as if I were a samurai and battling enemies in my own room. Do not get me wrong, but the closest thing I have gotten to a martial arts dojo is watching Enter the Dragon.

Like I said I keep to myself a lot. I guess the main reason I like to keep to myself is because my parents barely understand me. I am an 18-year-old boy whose parents work for a big oil company. They are complete workaholics who never seem to have enough time for their own son. I cannot blame them though; they just want me to have a good life. I mean it’s not like I am a trouble maker just because I am a loner, I am really a good kid. I am at the top of my class with perfect grades and never once have been written up at school nor gone to detention. I am what some would call a nerd. I enjoy reading and take my grades seriously. It seems that most of my peers would not understand me: someone who enjoys spending their summers holed up at home reading about samurais and the battles they are in. Hanging out with others is the last on my list of interests. I tend to sleep into the late hours, it being summer and all. I am also about to attend an Ivy League college, which my parents are working to pay for my way. I did get some scholarships but only a few. Most people would not understand that to do well in school your head is always in the books. However, I felt that I was destined to do much more with my life besides living behind the pages of a book. What I was soon to find out would change my life forever.

Oh, please forgive me. I don’t know where my manners are and I didn't mean to be rude. My name is Max Jameson and this is where my story begins.

About All Saints Day

Hello everyone this is not about all saints day but about the sequel to Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day and how I have been waiting for this cult classic to make a sequel for a while now. But my grief with it is that I wish it was playing here in Houston. The releasers of the movie are being smart by only showing it in selected theaters to make more money so people would push it for other places. But one place that they should of put it in was here in Houston. It's not even playing in Texas what is the deal with that. Houston has a huge population and I am telling you there would be millions to hit up their theater to see this movie. A lot of fans of the first one have been waiting for it but they might have to wait even longer until it comes out on DVD. Now if you do not know about Boondock Saints then go out and buy it, it is a great movie. All Saints Day is a celebration of the know and unknown Saints in Western Christianity. But the movie is about two Irish brothers who take justice into there own hand and are doing Gods work to clean the streets of evil. It is a great movie because well, I am a little bias because I am Irish myself. (That is something you won't see admitted on those CNN and Fox Blogs). I think this will be a good movie whenever it get to Houston... But H2IK!!!

About 2012

Ok this is it I am tried of the 2012 hype. Why does everyone want the world to end so bad? I must say this is the best marketing tool I have see just yet. Lets make everyone so fearful so we could make millions off it. I must say this giant scare is allowing religions to benefit from it and as the media makes millions of it too, it is just going to drive the numbers. I think people need to stop and realize that the world is not going to end soon. I think because of this people are going back to church for the wrong reasons and you will see once we get closer to 2012 the membership rates of religions institutions will grow. But what will happen if it is not the end of the world? I will tell you, we will go back to living are normal life's. This is just other Y2K in the making guess what will be the next big date 2060 according to Issac Newton, who he has come up with. So if nothing happens the next marketing campaign will be then. I just wonder why do people want the world to end because I do not think a human could really understand when the world will end. I must say the God I believe in is a loving god and if the end of world was going to happen there is nothing you could do but just hope you have lived a good life when time comes. In this link MSN talks about how the Maya's are tried of the hype of 2012 too. This link will tell you it is the Western Christan concept that the apocalypse is going to happen on this date. The Maya calender is also broking and some said other translations at Maya sites have dates beyond 2012, like one in 4772. Others also believe our solar system is going to be exactly a line with the center of our universe but the problem is that in the link it says that the solar system will be off by a few degrees. I must say read this article if you do not believe what I am saying. I think individuals just need to look at all sides before they gain an idea of it. I think individual are just taking what marketing campaign is and through all this media hype it is growing. People, please look at everything before jumping on the bandwagon... but H2IK!!!

About Duct Tape

First thing first I must say sorry for not writing readers that is the life of a college student. I must say I will try to write more. So this blog is going to be a bit of a funny one. I was thinking of duct tape after watching an episode of mythbusters. I realize duct tape could make anything and fix everything. So to fix our economy let use duct tape, or make everything in duct tape so it would work all the time. Like the old saying if you can't duct it well f*** it. I think what I have not seen but what if you have a house in duct tape. I think everyone should go out and invest in duct tape I think duct tape should be used for everything I know I might sound like a redneck but it would work. Duct tape is the way of the future it is the only invention that is still going strong. You don't need anything else but duct tape to fix everything such as weddings, money issues, marriages, and much more. I think duct tape could also fix global warming. Duct tape will be around forever. So instead of going green lets all go duct tape... but H2IK.

About Life

Today was a heart felt day even thought I was at a funeral. The funeral was for a good man, a man that everyone should look up to, a man who can say he had the life. This man was not rich but he was wealthy, he live his life like I wish to live my life. He had a sense of humor, was very optimistic, and when he was around people he made you feel good. He has a loving family, a lot of friends, and most of all will always be remember. He was my good friend's dad. He pass away at the age of 61 but was a great coach in bowling, always told you if you would claim down you could get it, and always had a smile on. A man like that are few, the reason I said he was wealthy was because he was always there to help others and never was doing something just to benefit himself. He is wealthy because even thought he did not have a huge house nor drove the fancy cars, he was the man of great knowledge and strong humility. This is what society should model what wealth is. Money is the root of evil, it drive people a part, but knowledge you could pass on and have people change their life with it. Knowledge is powerful it could get you any where and make the money you need. Knowledge is the secret of success my friends, if you have it you will have the chance to be rich but to be wealth you use that knowledge and help others, and if helping others gets you rich then it is just a benefit. Knowledge could change everything in a blink of a second but why is society teaching us about being wealth it is to be rich. No try this Knowledge=wealth and could lead to the product of being rich. Once you understand you will live better in your life. To live the great life of the wealthy individual you must stop thinking about yourself and start thinking what I could do to make this world a little better by giving that helping head. When the end comes for you do you want to be remember just for a spilt second of being rich and have a lot of money, or would you like to be remember forever because you knowledge brought great good to this world and your helping hand guided it... But H2IK!!!
